Club Coaching

Will resume on 14th August 2010 at new times on Saturday afternoons as follows:-

1-30-2-15pm Mini Red Tennis for Deanies from 3years up. (Class size 6 max.)

2-30-3-30pm Mini Red Development/ Orange for Deanos 5-9 years (Class size 12 max)

3-30-4-30pm Mini Green 9-12years includes those new to the game.(Class size 12 max)

Non members may be offered spaces if available and subject to a commitment to join the club after 2 sessions.Sessions are held subject to weather and court conditions. Coaching will be conducted by Michael Robson, LTA Licensed Coach of Sports Management and Sponsorship Ltd.

For Mini classes new balls will be provided at the start of the series which will be either Pro Kennex or Tretorn mini tennis balls. The Sunday classes will be provided with Tretorn Serie+ (as used on the ATP Challenger Tour) or Tretorn Micro X trainer balls depending on court conditions. Demo rackets are able to be borrowed or tested. Rackets and balls are available for purchase at discounted prices.

Summer Camps will run from Monday to Friday on 16th, 23rd and  30^th August

Times and are as follows on each day

9-15-10-00 Deanies Age 3-6

10-00-11-00 Deanos Age 6-9

11-12noon Deansters Age 9-12

12-2pm Juniors 12-18

Weekly camps cost Deanies/Deanos/Deansters £40 or £8 per session; Juniors £85 or £18 per session.

The club will be running  the Junior Club Championships in September 2010 in which ALL juniors will be entered. If any juniors do not wish to compete please let Michael Robson the Club coach know. The tournament will be run using the LTA's TTP software which will enable the administration to be done much more efficiently. It is intended to post draws for the events on 30th August 2010. It is also intended to host a Save the Children competition as well as an ACE charity event to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust, Maggies Centres and OCHRE.
